Hey there!
For my first blog post, I’d like to
introduce you to some of my favourite Instagram accounts. I tend to slow down
and actually enjoy the pictures these people post, as well as the captions they
include underneath each one. Food trends, fashion trends, party trends…
capturing and sharing these is what Instagram is all about. There are millions
of accounts out there, but here’s a tiny taste of this social media site.
1. HEYGORGEVENTS
Instagram: @heygorgevents
Rhiannon Nicole is an event designer and
party planner located in the Midwest United States. As made obvious by her
company name and Instagram account, Rhiannon is a lover of all things gorgeous.
Yes, beauty is the eye of the beholder, but there is no denying that everything
she posts is simply exquisite. Most pictures taken are amid event preparations,
but she also includes snippets of her life. Her beautifully designed workspace
will surely inspire you to have your own spot to call your “girl cave.” (I was,
and I’m working on it ;)

2.PRIMARYPETALS
Instagram: @primarypetals
Maybe it’s just me, but I think anything
out of Los Angeles has an edge, including their floral arrangements. Primary
Petals is a company located in downtown LA, run by a super creative couple.
They too are event planners, but also floral designers. Their Instagram posts
include shots of beautifully set-up flowers, events that they’ve designed, and
quirky add-ons, which, I’m sure, make them stand out above the rest.

3.GORGEOUSSSLEP
Instagram: @gorgeousssleep
Laura Verbich in 3 words: fit, vegan,
inspiring. This Instagram account will inspire you to move, to feed your
stomach and to feed your soul. She is a BeachBody coach located in Montreal
(*local flair*) and she beams positivity. Personally, I’m not a vegan, but I do
love taking care of my health. She usually posts her delicious dishes and her
healthy muscles, which will encourage you to think differently about your daily
routines. Also, you can follow as she experiments with different health related
challenges (ex. Crossfit, 80\10\10, etc.)

4. KESSEDJIAN
Instagram: @kessedjian
Isabelle Kessedjian is an artist based in
Paris. She truly is an artist in all shapes and forms. What originally caught
my eye were her crochet creations. (Who crochets anymore? I mean, apart from my
mom?) She draws, paints, sculpts… As she puts it, elle touche à tout. She will sometimes include a little “how-to”
that may make you grab a pen and follow her easy instructions. Doodling a
perfect penguin? Why not!

5. NASTYGAL
Instagram: @nastygal
Not your everyday fashion account. Vintage-oriented
and designed for the “free-thinking” girl, this company posts some seriously bad-ass
style. I’m not a bad-ass per say, but I do enjoy looking at the fashion finds
they post daily. Their designs are sexy, original and trendy, with, I would
say, just the right amount of attitude. Perhaps their roots in LA have
something to do with this edgy approach. I’m a fan.
