Valentine’s Day swag!

Sometimes I wonder: would I be such a cheesy person if it weren’t for Dollorama? I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t, since I’ve been around dollar stores for most of my life. However, I look around me, and I see that I own a significant number of randomly tacky things that are dear to my heart (a papier maché zebra, for example.) For this reason, I’m confident when I say that I am cheesy by nature. So, obviously, Valentine’s Day was made for people like me.
When you walk in a dollar store lately, you see the walls filled with everything red and little hearts. Some may ask: “Who buys this stuff?” Well that would be me, and I can’t be the only one, right? I mean some of these things are hard to resist. Case in point: little red cinnamon hearts. You’ve been eating them since you were a kid, and they are a Valentine’s Day classic. You might have eaten too many and swore to never eat one again, but come February, you just can’t say no.
This year, I got heart shaped baking molds. Yes, they’re meant to hold little cakes, but what if you’re tired of sweets? Mini shepherd’s pies in the shape of hearts say: “I love you, let’s eat.”
I am easily charmed by a beautiful garland, so I had to buy this string of hearts. I guess you could make one yourself, but for a dollar, it’s totally worth hanging this up.
So get out there, cheesy people! It certainly doesn’t have to cost you much to get your Valentine’s Day swag on.
