#Easter cupcakes, anyone?

Easter
is around the corner. Apart for its religious significance for many, the
meaning of Easter is often associated with the arrival of spring (FI-NA-LLY!)
and time spent with family and loved ones. While browsing the Pinterest boards,
I discovered some adorable Easter cupcakes. Some are made for the
baking-impaired, others for the cake decorating masters. Either way, they’ve
inspired me to show up for Easter lunch with a pretty dessert. Whether I make
them myself, or pick them up at a cupcake shop, is still yet to be determined
;)

The simplest cupcakes require a piping bag, food colouring and candy eggs, m&m’s, or jelly beans. Design a carrot, or make little birds’ nests that hard to resist.

The
presumably more challenging cupcakes involve some fondant skills, but this
could be a good “fondant-for-beinngers” project.
And
if you’re a fondant connoisseur, then maybe you could pull of these
masterpieces. So pretty and so spring-y!
