Brightly coloured tights: bring 'em on!

Fall really has a way to make us appreciate really bright colours. It’s not just the leaves in the trees, but when I look at my fall wardrobe, some of my favorite pieces are my brightly coloured accessories. There’s one thing this year that I’d like to add to my closet: colourful tights. (You know, the ones that aren’t black and boring.) I’ve seen a few people sport them, and they’re so fun! Yes, my little 7-year-old cousin wears them too, but I can’t resist wanting a pair for myself. Cyan blue, deep magenta, sunflower yellow… I just love how they change the feel of any skirt or dress, giving them a fresh pop of colour that we all need in the fall.

I guess the only thing that’s stopped me
from doing this before is the same thing that stops me form wearing anything
“different” or “out there”: the fear of looking silly. Except, there’s really
nothing to be afraid of here. It’s 2014 and I’m 30 years old. If I want to wear
colorful tights, who’s to stop me? So look out world, my legs are about to brighten
up my outfit and your day!
