Christmas at Indigo

novembre 25, 2014

Last summer, I was lucky enough to attend Indigo’s Christmas preview, and I was quite excited for the holidays to come. As usual, their holiday selection is chic and adorable all at the same time. Bookstores are always a pleasure to shop in, but Indigo is extra special for me. As a former employee, I always look forward to shopping there for Christmas. Today I share with you some gift ideas for anyone on your list.

This year, Indigo’s home and hostess selection is full of Canadiana beauty: antlers, owls, and bears are everywhere, mixed together with glitter and gold. It’s neat that a few home accessories like pillows and throws can give your living room a cabin chic feel. Serve hot cocoa in their Woodland Animal artisanal mugs, or a glass of champagne in their golden champagne glasses. If you’re looking to host in style, Indigo has what you need.

If you’re looking to give something cozy as a gift, Indigo has an entire selection of cozy things! Reading socks, earmuffs, hats, and scarves: it’s all here! One of their most popular cozy items is the hot water bottle. I know, it sounds strange, but if you had to choose between a red, pharmacy brand hot water bottle, or one that’s wrapped in a cute sweater with a fawn on it, you’d totally go for the cute one.

And lastly… their beautiful selection of journals and agendas is so pretty. If you’re like me, there are never enough notebooks. NEVER! Last year, I discovered the Kate Spade agenda. Can you say beautiful? In fact, Indigo carries the entire Kate Spade paper\office line. Every single thing (notepads, paper clips, pens, etc.) is too cute for words! And if “cute” isn’t what you’re looking for in an agenda, they have a wide enough selection that ranges from the very elegant to the very silly.

Of course, you can always buy someone a book. They have books for everyone and for any interest: fiction, hobbies, travel… Books are a classic gift that we tend to forget about amidst new tech toys. They’re fun and they never run out of batteries.

Happy shopping!
